Preston Information Pack

The Pack provides information from gaining employment, to looking for housing and finding schools for children – as well as information about the leisure and cultural opportunities Preston has to offer. It also provides contact details of organisations where people can get expert advice based on their own situation. Chair of the Preston Strategic Partnership Board, Councillor Ken Hudson said, “On behalf of the citizens of Preston, I would like to reach out and welcome new people to the city and through this guide, provide them with a good start in life here. Preston’s economy is growing and we welcome new people who can bring fresh talent and ideas to the city, and hope they settle and prosper here in Preston and contribute to our shared future”. The PSP is committed to the reduction of all forms of discrimination and prejudice. Through the PSP People & Communities Thematic Working Group important work is being done to promote mutual understanding between communities and actively develop a community where equality and diversity is positively valued and celebrated.
