Mens Group

As part of the overall campaign to improve men's health in the most deprived wards of Preston, a group, funded by Avencentral Partnership and the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund was established in December 2002 at Preston DISC. The group's aim is to create a safe environment for disabled men to meet and gain access to health information, socialise, develop confidence and self-esteem. The group welcomes people from diverse backgrounds and is open to all ages from 18 upwards. The group is now funded by Lancashire County Council and continues to offer various activities for group members.

The group enjoys numerous activities including: Gallery and Museum visits, Sporting activities, Creative activities and many more.
